Homemade Jam

Ingredients:

Instructions:
Prepare the Fruit: Wash the fruit thoroughly and remove any stems, pits, or cores. For larger fruits like strawberries or peaches, chop them into small pieces.
Cook the Fruit: In a large pot, combine the fruit, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruit breaks down and the mixture thickens, about 20-30 minutes.

Process the Jars (optional): If you plan to store the jam long-term, process the jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes, or if you have one, you can process them in your pressure canner. This will create a seal and prevent spoilage.
